Lovable
Easiest start- What it is
- A builder in your browser: you describe your idea, Lovable builds it visually and puts it online right away. No terminal, nothing to install.
- Best for
- Your very first prototype, a simple website or a small tool – fast and without tech frustration.
- The catch
- As soon as you need more control or something specific won't work, you hit walls. That's exactly where a tool like Claude Code takes over.
Claude Code
Full control- What it is
- An AI developer that works directly on your project – on your machine or in the browser. It understands your whole project, not just a single file.
- Best for
- The “last 20%”: changing existing projects, fixing bugs, actually going live. The path when a prototype should become something real.
- The catch
- Runs in your editor or terminal and feels more technical at first. That's exactly where I walk you through it step by step – that's what the course is for.
Codex
For the advanced- What it is
- OpenAI's AI coding agent. You hand it a task and it works through it largely on its own – similar to Claude Code.
- Best for
- Delegating larger tasks to the AI once you have a feel for building and roughly know what you want.
- The catch
- Like Claude Code, it's more for people past the first step. As a starting point, Lovable is usually the more relaxed choice.
My approach in the course: we start with the tool that gets you to a result fastest – and switch as soon as your project needs more. You don't learn “all the tools,” you learn the right one at the right moment.
